ISLAMABAD – The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Wednesday announced date sheets for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Schools Certificate (HSSC).
Chairman FBISE Qaiser Alam in a media briefing held here announced that the HSSC exams will be held from July 10 to 31st while SSC exams will be conducted from 12 to 30 July.
He said that the exams will be conducted of only elective subjects following the decisions of Inter Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) and there will be no practical exams.
Chairman FBISE Qaiser Alam said that exams of 9th and 11th grade will be conducted in the month of August.
He said that marking of exams will be done through adopting an ‘e-marking’ system to maintain the objectivity and every answer will be checked according to the question.
Chairman FBISE said that efforts are being made to announce the results of the examinations within 30 days.

He said that children’s attendance and absenteeism will be detected on the Federal Board’s dashboard within an hour and parents will also be notified of their children’s attendance.
Chairman Qaiser Alam said that there will also be an inspection of digital exams adding that syllabus has also been reduced due to Corona.
He said that based on these results, children will be able to get admission in universities. He said that 767 matric and 385 intermediate centres will be set up and there are more than 385,000 candidates for matric and Intermediate.
